Presidential Legislative Liaison Office (PLLO) Secretary Adelino Sitoy lauds Cordova Mayor Teche Sitoy-Cho for implementing several projects under her administration.
He made the commendation when he delivered his anniversary speech during the 108th Founding Anniversary Celebration on January 1, 2020 at the municipal grounds.
PLLO Sitoy, who is a former mayor of the municipality of Cordova, enumerated several road projects that will be implemented this year.
He mentioned the construction of the new market which is scheduled to open this year, as well as about the rehabilitation of the Cordova Sports Complex and the Gabi evacuation center which will serve as an alternative classroom for the Cordova Public College (CPC).
“Kung walay calamity, himo-ong alternative classroom ang Evacuation Center sa CPC, mahimo-a na og eight kabook na classroom,“ said Secretary Sitoy.
Secretary Sitoy added that he looks forward to the completion of the Cordova reclamation project of the SM Prime Holdings Inc. (SMPH) after they renewed their commitment to invest in Cordova during an online meeting with officers of the concerned government agencies last July 2020.
“Pohon mahuman ang Reclamation Project sa SM, dili na gyud na kalikayan na mahimo na gyud tang cuidad,” said Secretary Sitoy.
During the program, Mayor Sitoy-Cho together with Vice-Mayor Ximgil “Em-Em” Sitoy awarded certificates to the oldest residents of Cordova, ages 90 years old and above.
Prior to the program, Mayor Sitoy-Cho personally visited the oldest residents in their respective homes and personally handed them cash gifts.
Before the program ended, Mayor Sitoy-Cho also led the Oath of Commitment to service.
